⚠️ IMPORTANT: Not for Factory iDrive + LCD Screen
The E90X7A is designed for compatible BMW models without the factory iDrive system and original dashboard LCD/navigation screen.
Not compatible with vehicles equipped with:
- Factory iDrive
- Original dashboard LCD/navigation display
- Factory iDrive navigation configuration shown in the product images
If your BMW has the factory iDrive controller and LCD screen, do not select this stereo.
Please compare your dashboard with the Suitable / Not Suitable examples before ordering.
⚠️ Check Your Factory Radio Wiring
Even on a compatible non-iDrive dashboard, the original radio connector should be checked before installation.
If the factory radio plug has 8 speaker wires as shown in the product image:
The E90X7A can be connected using the supplied vehicle-specific installation solution.
If the factory radio plug does NOT have 8 speaker wires:
An Eonon A0581 decoder box is required.
The A0581 is sold separately.
Checking the factory connector before purchase helps determine whether this additional adapter is needed.
Optical Fiber / SOS Warning Notice
Some BMW factory audio configurations use an optical fiber connection.
After replacing the original radio, vehicles with this configuration may display an SOS warning/prompt on the instrument cluster.
According to the supported installation configuration, this warning does not affect operation of the E90X7A itself.
Please check your original audio system before installation if your BMW uses optical fiber.
Factory Button Retention
Some E90-series dashboards have factory buttons located below the original radio.
If you want to retain the functionality of these buttons after installing the E90X7A, an ashtray button relocation kit is required.
The relocation kit is not included.
Please check the factory-button layout shown in the compatibility image.
A/C Control Panel Relocation
After removing the original radio, the factory air-conditioning control panel is installed below the E90X7A using the mounting bracket supplied with the stereo.
This is part of the intended vehicle-specific installation layout and allows the climate-control panel to remain accessible after the head unit upgrade.

9" IPS HD Touchscreen
The 9" 1280 × 720 IPS touchscreen gives your BMW a larger interface for navigation, music, Android apps and supported vehicle information.
Wide viewing angles and the larger screen area make commonly used controls easier to see and access during daily driving.
WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.4
Built-in WiFi 6 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, allowing the stereo to connect to a smartphone hotspot or another available Wi-Fi connection.
Bluetooth 5.4 supports compatible phone and wireless audio connections.
Please note: Built-in 4G LTE is not included. Mobile-network access requires a compatible external 4G dongle.
Built-In GPS Navigation
The integrated GPS receiver allows compatible navigation apps to run directly from the E90X7A.

Note: Some DRM-protected streaming content may restrict screen mirroring.
AM/FM Radio & Optional DAB+
The built-in radio provides traditional AM/FM listening without relying on mobile data.
For supported regions, DAB+ digital radio can be added with an optional compatible Eonon DAB+ module.

Before Ordering, Please Check
1. Confirm your BMW is a compatible E90 / E91 / E92 / E93 model and year.
2. Confirm the vehicle does NOT have factory iDrive with an LCD/navigation screen.
3. Check the factory radio connector: if there are no 8 speaker wires as shown, the separately sold A0581 decoder is required.
4. If the vehicle uses optical fiber, be aware that an SOS prompt may appear after installation.
5. Check whether you need an ashtray button relocation kit to retain applicable factory buttons.
6. The original A/C control panel is relocated below the new stereo using the supplied mounting bracket.
For the E90X7A, confirming the dashboard type and factory audio wiring before purchase is the most important step in avoiding compatibility issues.
