Technical Information:

Smoke - Safety spectacles with smoke lenses are essential outdoors, which provide 13% light transmission and filters 99.99% UVA & UVB. The lenses are compatible with the PLATINUM anti-fog coating.

CSP - Ideal for all activities requiring exposure to alternating high and low light. Adapted to environments with extreme temperatures, both cold and hot. Blue light filtration and provide 65% light transmission and combination with the exclusive PLATINUM anti-fog coating.

Platinum Coating - The new exclusive anti-scratch and anti-fog coating guarantees even more safety, reliability and comfort. This permanent coating is applied on both sides of the lens giving them a high resistance to scratching (1.4 cd / m²), to the most aggressive chemicals and delays the onset of fogging for 2 minutes, as per the testing requirements of EN166. STANAG 2920 - STANAG standards are military standards recognized in all NATO countries.

This standard concerns bulletproof materials and combat clothing. In the case of Bollé Safety Standard Issue, goggles and glasses are subjected to impact tests using projectiles simulating ballistic fragments.

All the tests allow to calculate a V50 corresponding to the speed at which the projectile has a 50% chance to perforate the material. The value of the V50 varies according to the nature of the materials and therefore the colour of the lenses.

MIL-PRF - MIL is an evolving American military standard: Mil - PRF - 31013 (1996) and Mil 43511D (2006) were replaced by GL-PD-10-12 (2010), which will then be revised and transformed into MIL-PRF-32432 in 2013.

These military standards specify criteria with which products must comply in terms of eye protection. These criteria concern in particular ballistic protection, optical qualities, product durability, etc.
