The Scott Bitter Fit Test Kit is a qualitiative respirator fit
testing system which uses the harmless bitter taste to determine if a respirator is properly fitted to a
user. OSHA requires fit testing to ensure proper fit for
workers who use respirators.
The Scott Bitter Qualitative
Fit Test Kit meets the performance criteria for qualitative fit
testing of tight-fitting facepiece respirators under current
OSHA standards.
The Bitter Fit Test Kit may be used with both tight fitting
half-and full facepiece air-purifying respirators if they will
only be used in atmospheres less than ten times the PEL.
Kit contains a hood and collar assembly, two nebulizers, 6 x sensitivity solution, 6 x test solution and detailed users instructions and fit test instructions.
Ideal for tight fitting facepieces such as Sari, Promask, Vision & Panaseal Respirators. Also for tight fitting half mask respirators this is also fit for purpose.
Loose fitting polyethylene, draw string test hood provides unrestricted movement.
Large 3ml clear plastic window for better visibility.
Two easy-to-handle nebulisers deliver proper solution amounts each time.
Includes six sensitivity solution applicators.
