Miniature Medal “ FOR DROZDOVTSY”

on original miniature ribbon rosette.

The silver Matt oval medal has two crossed swords at the lug. On the outskirts of the medal on the front side there are two branches: on the fight- oak as a symbol of an unshakable decision, crowned with success. A convex drawing is depicted on the field of this side of the medal : Russia in the form of a woman in ancient Russian attire starting with a sword in her right hand over a cliff and at the bottom of the cliff and along the stope - a group of Russian soldiers with weapons in their hands. The background of the picture in the rising sun. On the reverse side and further in the upper part in a semicircle along the edge is engraved: CAMPAIGN of the DROZDOVTSEV“, and across the medal “ YASY - DON” 1200 verst (kilometres) 26.II - 25.IV 1918. In the last line of the recipient’s surname with the initials of his name.
