Kiki’s Delivery Service Original Production Cel By Hayao Miyazaki Studio Ghibli 1989.

Incredibly rare original production cel from the movie depicting Kiki on her brush broom about to rescue Tombo in the films dramatic conclusion. You can even stop the film at this point and see the cel itself on screen (You can see it just coming into shot on my photo but I couldn’t get it to stop at the exact right moment and it isn’t the widescreen version!). Your chance to own a true piece of animation history.

Acquired as part of a collection of production cels gifted to a Spanish animation house in the 1990s, this one shows some signs of incorrect storage in the past with some minor colour staining to the empty cel area and some paper attached to the paint on the rear of the cel where it had been mounted incorrectly. The overall condition of the cel is good however with the anterior main character (Kiki) in near perfect condition without fading or cracking, amazing considering the cel is over 30 years old.

Whilst in my possession it has been stored correctly in a low humidity 0 light environment, hence the quality.
