marry that petite princess, Thumbelina, in this Don Bluth/Gary
Goldman directed animated feature.
Here's one of her ardent
suitors, Mr. Mole, who lives next door to the underground home of
Mrs. Fieldmouse; it was her who took Thumbelina in after
discovering her living in a shoe.
This is an original hand-painted
12 field production cel of Mr. Mole in a cool close-up image that
measures approximately 11" x 8".
The stylistic look of the Walt
Disney Studios, Don Bluth's former employer, is pretty easy to spot
here!
The cel is placed on its Key Master hand-painted background,
which is in gouache/watercolor with airbrushed highlights on board
measuring 13" x 10.5".
