LIONEL 6-16154 AEC TANK CAR WITH BASIC BLACK REACTOR FLUID:  Up for review is the Lionel Atomic Energy Commission Tank Car with Basic Black Reactor Fluid. The tank car features die-cast sprung trucks, magnetic die-cast couplers, plus metal platform, ladder, handrails and brake wheel. The clear tank contains reactor fluid. The reactor fluid has the swirling colors in the tank. This 0-gauge tank car has “AEC 6515-4 Built by Lionel” on the sides.  The tank car is still in factory sealing plastic and in excellent condition. The tank car is secure in Styrofoam that is discolored with age and storage. There is not an outside cardboard box. See pictures for details. This sealed tank car has been packed away for many years and now this piece is looking for a new home. This item is from our private collection.
