Designer Francis Cayouette: "Sketches and drawings aren't enough when designing sofas, the most fun part is going to the factory and testing your ideas. When I designed GRÖNLID, I thought a lot about the backrest’s look, and it was first on the factory floor that I came up with the solution after I started testing the loose cushions. The idea is that everyone should be able to use the cushions as they like so that the sofa suits them individually and feels both timeless and generous at the same time."
