- Used on St. Maarten and Curacao
- The 250 gulden note has not been reissued since 1986 and is not commonly used (or found for sale!)
- The Netherlands Antilles guilder is being considered for replacement by either the US dollar or a new "Caribbean guilder" currency in the next few years
