This is a rare 100% authentic Hasbro releases from the 90’s which have commonly become known as the official Chinese re-issues. Produced from the exact same Hasbro molds.

I have been selling toys from this collection since 2014. Most Transformer collectors are familiar with the incredible collection that came from Jerry Palmer who was a senior Hasbro designer. 

Jerry worked on a lot of lines at Hasbro, very heavily in Transformers Beast Wars, G2 and the 90’s G1 Chinese Re-issues (Google: “official chinese g1” and highendtfs )

The second pic shows how many I have available all of these factory samples found in his collection (This listing is for ONE Smokescreen packet all are factory sealed!) These were some of his review samples; that means they were meant for aesthetic review and QA (quality assurance) testing so to be intentionally broken/ used for testing. ….These were never opened.

These are some of the first ever samples from this line sent from the Orient to be reviewed by Hasbro. Both a fully authentic Hasbro Smokescreen accessory pack and a unique collectible with great history.

Considering what Jerry did at Hasbro and his role in this line, this was one of the first to roll off the line. I can’t find anything that stands out on these accessories that indicates they are pre-production... my gut is that these are QA samples (quality assurance)  These could be a Final Engineer Pilot or VSP (vendor supply product) parts.
