VINTAGE THE FARMERS AND MERCHANTS NATIONAL BANK OF RED LION, PENNSYLVANIA ALL STEEL SMALL OVAL SAVINGS COIN BANK WITH HANDLE



This is a vintage all-steel constructed oval shaped savings bank from the 1930's probably. This bank advertises on a tag on the front for "The Farmers and Merchants National Bank Learn to Save It is a Good Habit Red Lion, PA.". Bank has a handle on the top and slot on the front also for the coins.  The bottom of the Bank is marked that it was manufactured by the Banthrico, Inc. Company out of Chicago, Illinois. We don't have the key for opening it though. The banks used to hold these. Bank is in good condition overall for its age with some natural wear present. Measures almost 2 and 1/4" tall by 4" wide by 2 and 1/8" thick. Wonderful old small steel savings bank from Pennsylvania would be a great find for your collection. Don't miss it.
