Bearing balls are commonly used in camera lenses, particularly for producing a click sound and locking the aperture selection in an aperture ring. Because of its small size, it frequently becomes damaged or lost during the repair procedure.
Before placing your order, please measure the bearing ball with a calliper (with a precision of at least 0.02 mm).Alternatively, measure the hole's diameter and select a ball bearing with a diameter slightly smaller.
Applying a small amount of grease to the bearing ball might help hold it in place during assembly. Flat-tip tweezers are ideal for holding the bearing ball. If you are unsure or unable to measure the size of the bearing ball, consider measuring the diameter of the hole and selecting a ball that is slightly smaller but larger than or equal to the external diameter of the spring (if applicable).
