The back cover is a great advertising piece for Planters Peanuts and Planters Peanut Candy Jumbo Block. It included a Free Paint Book Offer for friends, by saving empty bags and wrappers and mailing them to Planters Peanuts. Other inside pages advertise Planters Cocktail Peanuts, Planters Peanut Butter, Planters Peanut Oil - The All-Purpose oil for Cooking and Salads. 

This booklet is one of the best educational and advertising pieces that I have ever seen made available to our children. Hard-believe, but its 73 years old. Wish we were doing more pieces like this today...

The center, 2-page spread shows a great drawing of the main plant at Suffolk, Virginia -- World's Largest Peanut Products Factory. It also shows photos of the Executive offices in Wilkes-Barre, PA., and Planters Peanut Oil Crushing and Refining Plant, also in Suffolk, VA. Also includes a great rendering of "Mr. Peanut", One of America's best known and most famous trade marks. 

All of the other pages are chocked full of historical information that would help in the education of our young patriots -- Something that is very important in the world we find ourselves in today. 

Each page also includes a drawing that is fully colored in, and another one with just outlines, ready for the child to color the work in a similar fashion as the picture show. 

I'll place the booklet inside a plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board for protection while mailing by USPS First Class in a bubble envelope.
