I have made this drinks tray from part of a stave from a refurbished, whisky oak cask. As such, condition is "Seller refurbished", but individually made and therefore new and unique. This has been made, by myself, from a centre piece of an oak cask stave (outside section of cask so slightly curved). The oak has been refurbished, gently sanded and varnished.I have tastefully cut and smoked an imitation groove on both ends of the underside to replicate cask lid securing grooves. The section of stave is approx 37 cm long, 8.5 cm wide and 3 cm thick. For photo purposes, I have shown it with a Glencairn crystal glasses and a water jug (NOT INCLUDED). Likewise, the bottle of liquid, antlers and deer model are NOT included. The item has been routered in four places and four pieces of NEW, tartan have been inserted into the circles. The tartan wool is 16 oz heavyweight, 100% wool and is called "Glasgow Rangers, Traditional". The inserts are fixed in position by glue. As a natural product, with a working history, associated marks, industrial adaptations, colourings and size variations will be present. Please note, items which I make a lot of, may not be the one in these photos, ie stock photos, although it will be very similar.See my other cask craft. No offers please. As this is a hobby, UK sales only, sorry.*** FREE *** UK mainland delivery from my rural location will be with economy class courier or Royal Mail.
