About this support
The Tynor Foot Drop Splint is designed with a dorsal shell made of polypropylene with a leaf spring action to arrest plantar flexion movement and lift the foot. It supports and stabilises the ankle and foot in all foot drop conditions, aiding swing phase toe clearance and reducing plantar flexion impact during early stance.

How it works
The Foot Drop Splint uses an anatomically shaped polypropylene dorsal shell to maintain the foot in the functional dorsiflexion position. Its unique leaf spring action provides the bounce and toe clearance assistance needed during the swing phase of walking.
Hook-and-loop bands with reverse buckle mechanisms secure the splint firmly to the foot, while the air-filled bubble sheet liner and PE foam padding ensure a soft, comfortable interface. The thin foot section can be trimmed with scissors for a custom fit.
