THIS IS A WORKING, PRE-OWNED  1940s ART DECO CLIFFORDT  SWISS MADE  WOMENS  GOLD FILLED  LAPEL OR BROOCH WATCH (ALSO KNOWN AS A NURSES WATCH) WITH HIGH GRADE SWISS MADE  WINDING MECHANICAL MOVEMENT . 

 THE MOVEMENT WAS REMOVED FROM THE CASE, COMPLETELY DIS-ASSEMBLED, UNDERWENT HYDRO-SONIC CLEANING -RINSE-DRIED, EACH PART INSPECTED, WORN OR DAMAGED PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED.  THE PARTS WERE LUBRICATED, AND THE MOVEMENT RE-ASSEMBLED, ADJUSTED AND TIMED. REMOVED FROM THE CASE, INSPECTED,  LUBRICATED, RE-ASSEMBLED, AND TIMED.

1940S CLIFFORD  USA/SWISS BRAND,  ART DECO  STYLED BROOCH WATCH IN  YELLOW GOLD FILLED  CASE AND PIN ASSEMBLY.    THE WATCH IS POWERED BY A  SWISS MADE 17 JEWEL WIND UP MECHANICAL MOVEMENT.  THE MOVEMENT STORES A 35 HOUR POWER RESERVE IN ITS MAINSPRING- AND OPERATES AT 18,000 BEATS PER HOUR. FULLY SERVICED AND TIMED.

THE  WATCHES CASE  IS  SECURED  TO THE BOW STYLED PIN ASSEMBLY WITH  2 DECORATED BAR TYPE EXTENSIONS - BOTH ATTACHED TO A STURDY HOOP WELDED BEHIND ONE OF THE BUNGS . THE ENTIRE PIN AND  WATCH ASSEMBLY MEASURE APPROXIMATELY 60MM (2-1/4")  LONG .  LIGHT WEAR ON SIDES AND  FACADE  OF CASE . 

LIGHT WEAR ON CROWN. SNAP DOWN CASE BACK DISPLAYSSOME MILD  WEAR.  THE CASE BACK CLOSES FLAT AND TIGHT TO CASE.  SOME MINOR SCRATCHES, BUT  NO CRACKS NO CHIPS ON ORIGINAL 1940S THICK FACETED  CRYSTAL  . 


PIN ASSEMBLY:

THE WATCH IS ATTACHED TO THE ART DECO "BOW" OR "RIBBON" STYLED PIN ASSEMBLY.  ITS CONSTRUCTED OF GOLD FILLED BASE METAL . THE PIN ASSEMBLY- MEASURES 32MM (1-1/4") AT THE WIDEST PART. THE BACK SIDE PIN IS IN VERY NICE  CONDITION - IT SECURES THE LAPEL WATCH FIRMLY TO THE USER.
