PORTMEIRION POMONA 6-3/4" OATMEAL BOWL ORANGE BACKSTAMP SUSAN WILLIAMS-ELLIS

Lovely example of a rare early vintage Portmeirion rimmed oatmeal bowl from the POMONA range introduced in 1982. The colourful The Teinton Squash Pear illustrated by Susan Williams-Ellis is wonderful. The backstamp is one of the early original orange circular marks that shows The Goddess of Fruit. The older items in this oven to table range are becoming harder to find particularly in this condition.

Presented in very good condition except for a very small chip on the base rim (last photo). There are no cracks or crazing and very minimal signs of wear. The colours are nice and bright as is the backstamp shown on the base.

The bowl is approx. 1-3/4" deep x 6-3/4" diameter at the rim.

The item will be securely packaged to avoid any damage in transit.
