ANTIQUE SUITCASE SHAPED SMALL COIN BANK BOX ADVERTISING DEY BROTHERS BANKERS SYRACUSE, NY WITH COPPER STREAKS RUNNING THROUGHOUT
This is for an antique bank box that is made of steel with copper colored streaks running throughout it. This suitcase shaped bank-issued box has a handle on the top. The bank has a metal tag on the front that reads, "Dey Brothers Bankers Syracuse". Sides of the bank has a place for coins on one side and a place for paper currency on the other side. The handle of the bank is imprinted with the number "3400" on one side and the manufacturer name, the C.O. Burns Co. out of New York on the other side. It measures about 3 and 1/4" tall by almost 4 and 1/4" wide by 2 and 1/4" thick. There is no key available though. The banks used to hold these. Bank is in good condition overall for it's age with just natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail.
