The Los Angeles of the future has two districts--an opulent sector for the wealthy and a dilapidated zone for the impoverished--and the penalty for transgressing the boundaries is death. A rogue cop and other convicts prepare to face their punishment at the hands of cyborg assassins in a coliseum for the amusement of the rich.
