A highly collectible blast from the past!

Coca-Cola metal cooler - features two carry handles, a metal closing clasp on front side, two metal bottle openers (one on each side), a drain with screw-on plug is located near the bottom on one side. The slogan introduced by Coca-Cola in 1969 "it's the real thing, Enjoy Coca-Cola" is displayed on the front and back side of the cooler in raised lettering. - Made by the Progress Refrigerator Co., Louisville, Kentucky.

This retro cooler is in good overall condition for it's vintage age. The cooler is intact but has seen it's good amount of use in the past. The original red and white paint remains colorful but there are scuffs, scratches, wear, chips and/or blemishes present. The top lid opens/closes and the hinges remain operable. There is quite a bit of denting on the top lid in multiple areas. The metal closing clasp does not shut down tightly and could use realigning. The original rubber gasket seal inside is worn in areas with damage and missing sections. There is some minor surface rusting on the metal hardware. Overall this rare beauty would make for a nice addition to any collection.
