This is the Gull Wing door opening model . (However this dinky toy does not feature opening doors, bonnet or any thing.) An excellent 1:43 rd replica made new in the 1990's and not sold retail. . The 300SL prototype racing model won the 1952 Le Mans 24 hour event and this was the production introduction with those added unusual doors!
This 1:43 rd scale model made in China was for 8 years old and above when new.

This model has only the odd blemish but is new condition having spent long years displayed for sale . occasionally . but mostly stocked in a storage area. Correctly boxed and in our opinion never sold retail.
