Up for sale is a rare vintage 1978 Papa Gino's Ralph Garr. Collectors's Series Baseball Card Disc #37 Ralph is a beloved former Chicago White Sox outfielder.

The condition is "acceptable" for its age, which is judged to be "fair" in this instance.  Please read the description very carefully. Imperfections include surface scratches, miscellaneous marks, edge/perimeter wear, soiling, fading, yellowing, color loss and discoloration due to age, and some indentations and dings.

Despite its many flaws it would make a nice addition to the collection of any Ralph Garr or Chicago White Sox fan, or vintage "oddball" baseball card collector. It is #37 of the 40 card set. Please see photos for more information. There's a number of white stains/scuff marks on the front of the disc. There's also some deterioration along the perimeter visible on both sides

1978 Papa Gino's Discs is a 40-disc set distributed by the New England-based pizza chain. Each disc is 3 3/8" in diameter. The set was produced by Mike Schechter Associates (MSA), and as with most MSA produced products, is not licensed by Major League Baseball. As such, all team logos have been airbrushed. The first 25 discs are of the Boston Red Sox; appropriate considering the chain's location.

Ralph Allen Garr was a major league baseball player, scout and coach.  He played in Major League Baseball from 1968 to 1980, most notably as a member of the Atlanta Braves and eventually with the Chicago White Sox and California Angels.

Garr’s career year was 1975, when he was a National League (NL) All-Star and won the NL batting title.  Garr was a free swinger who could confound defenses by hitting to all parts of the outfield. He batted .300 or better five times during his career. In 2006, Garr was inducted into the Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame.
