It's Up For Grabs Now... Arsenal League Champions Coin Display Gift Set 1989

Souvenir coin set celebrating Arsenal's 1989 Championship success, which was won in the most dramatic finale in English football history, with a 2-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

Needing a two-goal victory to snatch the title from the hosts, Arsenal led 1–0 until the 91st minute when Michael Thomas surged forward for one final attack. Commentator Brian Moore immortalised the moment with his words, "It’s up for grabs now!" as Thomas flicked the ball into the net to secure the championship in the dying seconds.

The display contains a set of four 1989 coins, namely: twenty pence, five pence, two pence and one pence - all are in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition.

The product is supplied in a clear protective sleeve so both sides of the coins can be viewed.

Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position.
