A positively stunning, jaw dropping coat from the late 1910s/early 1920s! Rich, luxurious black velvet floor length coat with long attached cape with miles of macrame fringe trim. Opposite side of coat is a heavy black cotton, heavily embroidered at hem and cape with trailing floral design in glistening embroidery thread.

No closures, no labels present due to reversible nature, one single hidden seam pocket. This incredible, luxurious coat is very well made and weighs nearly 5 pounds.

Condition is excellent, with the only notable flaw being two small holes inside the pocket. One stripe of fringe has been accidentally stitched up, another small section has been braided idly from another wearer, shown. Coat has been professionally cleaned and arrives ready to wear. Coat is generously sized, one size fits most. Back of neck to end of trim is 56" long.
