Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro lens Y/C fitting with end caps. This lens is designed
for macro photography, close ups and still photography, focussing down to 0.19m
(1ft), though in practice it focuses down to a few inches of the subject.
It provides life sized
reproduction (1:1) which is perfect for stamps, coins, insects and other small
subjects without the need for extension tubes etc. The f2.8 aperture gives
bright viewfinder images and fast shutter speeds.
All functions operate
correctly. The focus and zoom are smooth without backlash, slop or play. Aperture
click stops which are in half stops are firm and positive. The diaphragm is
clean and free of oil. There is no fungus, separation or scratches.
Cosmetically it is almost unmarked.
Overall a quality lens
providing sharp close up images.
