Rough idle, low power, high MPG, not flexible acceleration, too long of a cranking
time with a hot engine.......you probably have a damaged fuel distributor diaphragm (even the smallest one) or an internal leak in the fuel
distributor, or both. This is probably because of modern fuel additives & the introduction of ethanol into fuel.

 New technology allows us to maintain not only absolute precision in manufacturing the diaphragm, but also handling the cutting corners in a way that the edges of the nylon mesh inside the diaphragm become thermally connected to the base layers of the diaphragm.

Improved Diaphragm for a eight cylinder alloy Bosch KE-Jetronic Fuel Distributor
After manufacturing the diaphragm (as the penultimate step before installing) with our special equipment the diaphragm is applied to the recess of the ceramic valves. This facilitates the assembly process and eliminates the possibility of rupturing the diaphragm due to improper installation of these valves.

Before ordering, please check your fuel distributor part number. It is located on a small metal plate on the
distributor and must be 0-438-10X-XXX
If you have a fuel distributor made by Bosch with a number that is not mentioned above, you may contact us by email, and we can provide you with a kit designed for your vehicle.
