1994 FIFA World Cup Official Poster Trading Card Collection

To celebrate de 1994 FIFA World Cup, Placar Magazine - back then the long lasting and most respected football specialized periodic - released a collection of trading cards depicting the official FIFA poster issue for every and each world cup until then.

They show the exact copy of what the official poster was on the front, and on the back a summary of the world cup. It is fantastic.

The collection was composed of 15 cards, issued weekly until the last one, to be released after the final match of the 1994 World Cup.

This collection includes all of the cards, except for the 1970 tournament disputed in Mexico.

You could only get each card if you purchased the sealed periodical. They were never sold separately.

It is unlikely anyone will find collection, in mint condition, anywhere else. 

The collection comes in pocket sleeves.
