For the serious audiophile I have this complete high end 2-channel system ready to plug and play in your home. You’ll hear the word audiophile a lot but many of those systems don’t live up to the name; this is the real deal. No expense spared on any component of this system and all components are perfectly matched. 2-channel listening is agreed to be the purest way to listen to music. If you know what you’re looking at you know this is a solid deal saving a lot of time and money in piecing it together.

Klipsch RF-7 ii pair $2000 ($3500+ new)

Bryston 4B ST amplifier $2000

Bryston 0.4B Pro preamp $850

Pioneer Elite BDP-09FD CD player $800

Marantz 115b Tuner $400

HD antenna and cable $200

Speaker cables 2 pair $200

Balanced output cable x 4 $150

Silver Analog cables 2 pair $100

4-level stand w/ caster wheels $200

Marantz SA8260 Super Audio CD Player $100

These prices add up to $7000, packaged at a price of $6,500. A great deal considering I have them all priced very fairly and you can get the entire system from one source instead of piecing it together. Serious buyers contact me for a demo if interested. Located in Pocket area of Sacramento close off 5.

First you have the Klipsch RF-7 ii floorstanding speakers, the second generation of their flagship speaker. You don’t see these for sale often because there isn’t much difference between the ii and iii so people don’t upgrade from these and sell them. You do see the first generation for sale quite often as people upgrade to the more desirable ii or iii. 250 watts RMS 1000 watts peak power handling. Two 10 inch subwoofers per speaker and 1.75-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver loaded with a square Tractrix Horn. You have to experience the difference in sound with compression drivers, the highs are so much more pronounced and crisp.

Paired with the Bryston 4B ST amplifier that puts out two channels at 250 watts per channel continuous, perfectly matched with the 250 watts RMS on the speakers. This thing has all the bells and whistles: rack mountable, heat sink sides and has handles on the front. Most you see don’t have all these options. Very clean as well compared to others I’ve seen come up for sale. Then you have the Byston 0.4B Pro preamplifier with XLR balanced outputs to pair seamlessly with the XLR balanced inputs on the 4B ST amp. It seems this preamp is pretty rare because all those I’ve seen for sale do not have the balanced output jacks like this one. These main components (preamp, amp, speakers) are so perfectly matched, it’s like they were made for each other.

For the player, this system comes with the Pioneer BDP-09FD, their flagship Blu-ray player that originally retailed at $2200+. Currently these are very desirable for 2-channel listening due to the superior components, especially the drive. In great shape with newer power cord and high quality RCA cables included to hook it up to the preamp. You’d be hard pressed to find a better player for this system without spending A LOT more.

This setup also includes the Marantz 115b Stereophonic Tuner and deluxe HD antenna from Godar, meant to be placed inside in the garage or attic. Paired with this is a silver cable to connect the antenna to the tuner, not just a regular cable. Paid over $100 just for the cable. I can also throw in the Marantz SACD player SA8260 at only $100, these go for about $400 but the previous owner said there’s an issue with the laser reading that is fixable. I already had the Pioneer player so I haven’t tried to use the Marantz.

They say your system is only as strong as the weakest link, so no expense was spared on all cables. The purchase includes top quality speaker cables to run the RF-7 ii’s, a pair of silver cables for the balanced outputs (preamp to amp), and two pairs of silver analog cables to connect the tuner and CD player to the preamp. All heavy duty and well made, top of the line. This ensures that no power or signal is lost at any point in the system. No weak links here only top quality components.

This system is so incredibly well-built, I can’t take credit as I’m the second owner but he built it the same way I would. Which is why I bought the whole system even though I only planned on buying the speakers initially. But every component is so perfectly matched I couldn’t split it up. They’re all made for each other and it shows in the quality of sound. So incredibly nuanced for the true audiophile, this can get LOUD but I really enjoy listening at low volumes too. I haven’t even turned it up to the halfway point since I’ve owned it, that’s how loud it is.

Words can’t describe how clean this system sounds, it feels like you’re sitting in the studio when you can focus on the nuances. Willing to demo the system in my garage for serious buyers. As the second owner I’ve kept everything in excellent condition, the system did come to me with normal wear for its age, no major flaws and everything functions perfectly. All well taken of by the first owner. I’ve left a rough breakdown of the individual prices above but I’m not looking to break up the set. I will continue to enjoy this system until it has found a new home. Thank you for looking!
