Set of antique horse buggy decorative spiral rails.  I assume they were part of a light Sunday drive type of horse buggy--maybe I'm totally wrong and if so I'd certainly appreciate whatever info you might be able to give me.  I also assume that these are a pair--left and right.  Both are made of 3/8 diam steel rod that has a spiral groove around it from end to end and which once was nice and shiny with some sort of Nickle or chrome plating, now being worn--both look to be complete but I don't know if they still have their original shape or will need some tweaking.  Both have 4 mounting points--one fixed on each end with one hole each and also each has two sliding mounting brackets that each have two mounting holes.  Its hard to measure how big these are but roughly speaking they are 25-26 inches from center to center on ends of mounting holes.  One end of the mounting piece and both sliding mounting pads are made of brass.

Please email me if you have any questions or if you would like to see any additional photos of particular area.  I welcome all questions and would much prefer to address any issues before you bid.
