Two volumes Hard Back in Cardboard Slipcase

The King Ranch by Tom Lea 1957 First Edition, First Printing with error on page 507. In the first printing the chapter starts with "Alice..." second printing changes the chapter to "For Alice..." This 2 volume set with slipcase is in a very good condition and features a history of the iconic King Ranch of Texas, with numerous well done illustrations and maps by Mr. Lea. 

Design of this book is by the legendary Texas typographer Carl Herzog, whose colophon appears at the back of the book. 

Condition: Books show no use and look like they have never been read.  They have tight binding, unfolded pages, square corners
no marks, writing, etc on inside
The slipcase has some minor scuffs and some discoloration see pictures.

There is some light fading  and stains on spines 
Volume one has light staining on edges of pages
