Beautiful WMF Art Nouveau Silver Plated Large Magnum / Champagne / Wine Bottle coaster.

Fully Hallmarked with the Running Ostrich half lined Rhombus , 0 in Rhombus means one and half times the thickness of Silver used, plus the rare N for best nickel.

Here we have a very beautiful & large WMF art nouveau silver plated Magnum / Champagne / Wine Bottle coaster, beautiful silver work with pierced floral and continuous adjoining leaf , just above the base is fine bead work with the tone of copper , hence the N in the hallmark.

The interior base is the original highly polished turned hard wood and the under base has a green baize / felt.

This piece is of superior quality to other normal pieces WMF as it has one and half times more silver content in the plating.

Its a beautiful Piece that will give another 110 years of service, as you would expect from one of the worlds best Metal ware companies WMF.

Condition.

Very little silver loss if any, No scratches, dents, dints , all the metal work is straight , nothing missing and absolutely perfect.

The turned highly polished hard wood base is perfect, its the original base and I believe the original lacquer as it had a old removable felt cover on the wood. 

The underneath of the stands has some silver loss where the silver plate was contact with the surface, Green Baize / Felt has a few minor marks . 

Condition is excellent.

Considering its over a 110 years of age , its in fabulous condition.
