Offering a beautiful hand-colored engraving by James Scott from the painting after Sawrey Gilpin (1733-1807) titled Merkin. Plate is signed lower left lower S. Gilpin and signed lower right J. Scott.  The print has a double-matte in ivory and brown and framed in an antiqued black and gilt frame

Plate size is approx. 8 ½” high x 11 ⅝" wide

 

Frame size 17 ¾” high x 20 ¾” wide

 

In very good condition, print has not been examined outside of frame or glass, minor nicks to frame
