WMF Antique Art Nouveau Silver Plated on Best Nickel Cigarette Case.

Here we have a fabulous WMF antique Art Nouveau Cigarette Case, Silver Plated on Best Nickel and Oxidised.

In Todays world makes a great and unusual business / Credit card holder.

Its a very stylised case, with a a long leaf at each corner and engined turned lines six in total around the case, Both sides.

It has a spring assisted opening on the hinge which is very strong and will open the case to maximum, great piece of engineering and a spring push in clasp to open, works perfectly also.

The interior has its two elastic cigarette restrained, which I believe is original as they have the metal ends of that period, when you look inside the case you can understand how this case is in such wonderful condition, I do not believe its been used, inside not even a scratch, amazing considering this case in over a 110 years old.

The condition of the exterior of the case is excellent a few contact scuffs ( being placed on a table whatever ) but no scratches or anything nasty whatsoever,

There is one very minute depression in the metal which can only be seen if you catch the correct light, its not a dent or a dint, its very minor and does not effect this cases appearance in any way.

Its a beautiful piece of WMF, superior quality and wonderful workmanship as you would expect from one of the best metal work companies in the world, WMF.

Condition 

The Case is in excellent condition, No silver loss whatsoever, no nasty scratches, other than some minimum light scuffs. Hinges are perfect, strong & true.

Not Monogrammed or engraving.

All mechanical Works Perfectly.

This case is like a mirror, it has nearly perfect reflection, it was very difficult to photograph and of course with light it will show even the most minor of very light surface scuffs look worse.
