Very sweet, and cute original vintage, Steiff mohair Pekingese dog, 'Peky'. He was made sometime between 1959 and 1967. Original glass eyes, and articulated head. Steiff produced several sizes of this doggie, and this is a small-medium size 5" one.
Peky has been well played with and needs some TLC. 
He has bad, childish stitches on both ripped ears, as well as his poor tail, as can be seen in his pictures.
His feet and muzzle are a bit threadbare, and he may need some darning.
All his tags are long since gone.
These toys were passed down from my family and are all originally from Germany.
