This oil pump (housing part number 7501569) is interchangeable with older model that has an oil deflector plate integrated into oil pump housing (see the last photo), however you will need to purchase the oil deflector separately.

This upgraded design prevents from all types of shaft failure and is already tested in many racing events
You are buying a new shaft and a modified sprocket installed in an used oil pump. The oil pump body are rotors are used, in good condition and come for free. Oil pressure valve and spring are recommended to be replaced with new ones as they are cheap and easy to obtain from BMW dealerships.
The oil pump requires a professional installation.
