This is a genuine NCR dual cash drawer "Y" cable for connecting dual "legacy" / Radiant 12 volt cash drawers to an NCR point of sale system, such as used with the the CX3 (7776), CX5 (7773), CX7 (7772), CX8 (7736), RealPOS® XR3 (7613), XR4 (7602), XR5 (7701), XR7 (7702), PX10 (7746), P1235 (7745), P1535 (7761), & PX10 / PX15 (7746).

This is also required and works when only one legacy 12V drawer is connected..

Double-check your part number and look at the pins inside the "CD1" and "CD2" ports in the photos and confirm your existing drawer kick cables use gold-colored 4-pin RJ9 / RJ10 ends to go into these 4-pin female ports.  If you're unsure, you can search "NCR 1432-C517-0009" in a search engine to find more of NCR's official documentation.

If your CD1 and CD2 ports have 6 gold-colored pins, for connecting to newer 24 volt cash drawers, then this is not the correct cable and you should see the NCR dual 24V cash drawer adapter.

NCR warns that "connecting the wrong cable can cause system damage".

The best way to confirm is to match the part numbers, which are typically printed on a label on the cable. This is known by all of the following part numbers:

• ID Number / ID NO: 1432-C517-0009

This cable has 3 feet long / 36 inches with two RJ10 4-pin ports, marked CD1 and CD2 in the photo, and the terminal end has a 6-pin RJ11 / RJ12 male serial connector.
