Antique Henry Alcock Vegetable Bowl

This beautiful, flow blue bowl dates from 1891, and was manufactured in Cobridge, Stoke-on-the-Trent at the Elder Pottery by Henry Alcock.  The "Touraine" pattern was developed in 1890 using a deep, rich cobalt blue color, very fine detail on the floral bouquets, and a scalloped edging with gilded, gold bands. The bowl is 10" long, 7" wide, and 2"high.
