Of the generally known diseases out there, waiting to get you, none (not Cancer, HIV, or Covid**, not even Scurvy, Rickets or Herpes), NONE are as dreaded or feared as EBOLA, the T. Rex of infectious diseases.  "Officially" identified and named in 1976, it had a starring role in "The Hot Zone", so it remained more of a curiosity than a threat to the West, since it was a disease from "over there".  Then, amid a massive outbreak in West Africa in 2014, a few cases made it to our shores.  THEN, it became a serious concern.  Now, there are approved (and highly effective) treatments.  So, now it is under control and out of the news...EXCEPT THAT THERE IS ANOTHER MASSIVE OUTBREAK HAPPENING IN AFRICA RIGHT NOW...SINCE 2019!!!

IMPORTANT: When these are sent to us from Giant Microbes, depending on the quantity of our order, sometimes they are individually bagged and sometimes they are bulk bagged but NOT individually.  When we mail yours out, each WILL be safely wrapped inside either a factory-sealed bag or a new plastic shopping bag to help protect it from the elements as it travels to you.  As these are filled with polyester fibers, it can and will probably be packed tightly for shipping so if it appears a little "squished" when it arrives, it may just need to be shaken and "fluffed" upon removal from its mailing box.  PLEASE, for the safety of your new friend, do NOT cut or puncture the box with any sharp objects!
