This is a NCR branded 1639-K044-V001 cable to connect compatible NCR, Radiant Systems, or Aloha POS 4-pin "CD" terminals to the 12 volt drawer kick port on the bottom or rear of a compatible M-S brand cash drawer.

If your application isn't the exact POS brand and cash drawer brand listed above, then please assume this cable will not work because the wire configurations are different for other brands, even if the connector looks the same.

The best way to confirm this is the correct cable for your application is to match the part number of the cable to these known part numbers:

• NCR 1639-K044 Rev C or 1639-K044-V001
• Radiant Systems / Aloha P/N CB10321

This cable is 6 feet long / 72 inches with one 6-pin RJ12 / RJ11 male end that goes to the compatible M-S or Radiant Systems branded cash drawer, such as the following 12 volt models:

• 2168-1000-9090 / CD10131
• 2176-1000-9090
• 2177-1000-9090
• 2177-1500-9090

The other 4-pin RJ10 / RJ9 male end that goes to the back of the compatible point of sale (POS) system's 4-pin "CD" port.

Note: If you are connecting an older "legacy" 12 volt drawer to a newer NCR / Aloha terminal with a 6-pin CD port, then it is necessary to also purchase the 1432-C517-0009 splitter to adapt this cable's 4-pin end to the 6-pins on the your newer terminal. To do this you'd connect the splitter (sold separately) to the terminal and connect the 1639-K044 to the splitter's "CD1" port.
