Wounaan Embera BASKET *Bat Owl Parrot Butterfly* 3.5x3.5 Inch* VERY Tightly Woven*

Very tightly woven Choco basket from the Wounaan or Embera indigenous people of the Darien Rainforest of Panama.  Natural background with multiple owl, bat (at least we think it is a bat - perhaps a butterfly), parrot, butterfly, and tree branch tightly massed on the surface; the design extends into the bottom of the basket.  With original tags; always displayed in a closed cabinet.

Measures approximately 3.5 inches at largest diameter and 3.5 inches high. Penny is for size reference to quality of construction.
