The book explores the applications of evaporation, its historical development, the apparatus, control and the use of vacuums.

Includes tables of steam, the metric system and thermometer scales.


CONDITION

In cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart with blindstamped detailing to front board and only some shelfwear. Dustwrapper, rubbed with closed tears to tail of spine and head and tail of both boards. Loss to corners and bumping to head of spine of dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound with pages bright and clean.
