DESCRIPTION

Limited to 500 copies of which only 400 were for sale, this work is profusely illustrated with photographic plates and works selected from Fletcher's own sketch books.

Sir Banister Fletcher was an English architect and architectural historian who co-authored A History of Architecture.


CONDITION

In a cloth binding in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart with some light rubbing and bumping. Slight sunning to spine. Dustwrapper sound with some chipping and loss to head of spine. Spine sunned. Internally, generally firmly bound although tissue guard to frontispiece detached but present. Pages generally bright and clean with just the occasional spot not affecting plates.

Overall Condition: Very Good  Good
