New cast Iron, replacement part, modified design by us to eliminate the weak areas of the original including the"ears".Our connection points are made of slightly thicker cast iron and do not have a counter sunk area. This counter sunk design is the major weak point of the original parts. Ours can be countersunk on demand, but we recommend not to do this but to use a Round headed bolt instead (as seen in photos).
