This item is a silverplate handle basket or centerpiece bowl produced for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The bottom is stamped with "c MMA / AeM Leipzig" as pictured.

We lightly polished this with some silver polish.  Could use a little more polishing but, looks awesome.

This item measures 7-1/2" diameter at the upper rim x 3-7/8" tall to to the rim.

This item measures 9-1/2" tall to the top of the braided twist handle.

The weight of this item without packing or box is 1 pounds and 4 ounces.
