Features and Specifications:
This life-size model is designed as a visual leaning aid for anatomy and physiology courses.
 - This medially sectioned model shows details of the larynx, including cartilages, ligaments, muscles, relief of mucous membrane and thyroid gland.
- It demonstrates the thyroid cartilage, cricord cartilage, epiglottis, laryngeal muscles as well as the major ligaments that make up the larynx. The left and right thyroid gland lobes are also shown.
- On the median sagittal section, the model shows the false vocal cord (plica ventriculus), true vocal cord (plica phoneticus) and laryngeal ventricle etc. of the
phonetic organ. Above and anterior to the larynx is the hyoid bone, while the lower part of the larynx is connected with the trachea.
- The sublingual gland and the submandibular gland are also shown.
- The front of the lower jaw is detachable.
- Disassembles into 5 parts.
