For Sale is a New Mid Mount Alternator Bracket for a Big Block Chevy with a Long Water Pump. This kit is designed for your 1965-1972 Heads that have a 7/16" mounting hole in the front of the head. It includes all hardware necessary to mount your alternator and bracket. It includes the special 7/16" to 3/8" stud that threads into the head. This bracket uses the original bolt hole in the head and factory water pump threaded bosses to mount the alternator. It positions the alternator below the mounting bolt on the head rather than above it. This gets your alternator out of the way, it looks better and still clears the fenders of early 30's and '40's cars and pickups. This is a very nice design we developed for our own Street Rod. It will be a nice finishing touch for yours!

 

This bracket is machined from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum. The flat surfaces have a brushed finish.

 

 This kit includes all Stainless Steel Mounting Hardware
