Charcloth is a 100 % cotton cloth that has been combusted in the absence of oxygen. It is easily ignited with a natural flint and steel or with a modern fire steel. Used in conjunction with tinder & a fire steel, this is a highly effective way to start a fire. Also works well with a fire piston.

Charcloth does not burn with an open flame, it burns slow with a hot ember like the end of a cigarette. Essential for turning a spark into a flame.

Adult supervision is highly recommended for children.
