General Fitting instructions.
To test the alarm before fitting a 9V pp3 (or similar) battery can be used.
Just hold the power wires on the battery and move the float up and down to stop and start the alarm.
The connectors on the white wires are a very tight fit onto the male connectors on the float switch.
It is advisable to only push them on a small amount for testing the alarm.
When pressed fully on they are difficult to remove, if you do need to remove them in the future
Be sure to only pull on the connector NOT on the wire because it will break the wire.
The red and black wires are the power wires.
The black wire should be screwed to any nearby grounded metal, and the red wire fitted
to any fused circuit switched on by the ignition key, using the lowest current fuse that is available.
If there is no spare fuse the red wire can be spliced into an eisting circuit as it uses very little current
even when the alarm sounds.
The LED hole needs to be drilled with a bit that is eactly 5mm.
It will then be a press fit into the panel.
I will be happy to answer any questions promptly via eBay messages.
Drill bits needed:-
5mm for LED
7mm for test switch
