The Temple of Luxor is one of Egypt's greatest monuments. At the time of Roberts' visit much of it was overbuilt with local houses. The missing obelisk had been sent to France several years earlier. Subscription edition, 1840s, approximately 14" x 20" image size. This limited edition lithograph was hand colored and mounted on a 17" by 24", heavy stock paper. Very good condition.
