☕ Ingredients For The Beverage

v  1 cup water or milk (200 ml)

v  ½ teaspoon pure salep powder (approx. 5gr / 0.17oz)

v  1 teaspoon sugar (or to taste) - Honey may be used instead of sugar

v  2 whole cloves

v  2 small cinnamon sticks

v  A pinch of ginger powder (optional)

v  A pinch of nutmeg powder (optional)

💡 Tip: Instead of water, you may use regular milk or plant-based milk such as soy, rice, or other alternatives, according to preference.

🍶 Preparation

v  In a small pot over medium heat, warm the water or milk together with the cloves, cinnamon sticks, and sugar.

v  Once it begins to boil, reduce to low heat.

v  Add the salep powder gradually, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

v  Continue stirring gently while simmering until the beverage thickens and becomes aromatic.

v  Remove from heat and discard the cinnamon sticks and cloves.

v  Sprinkle a small amount of cinnamon or nutmeg powder on top before serving, if desired.
